Can't climb up

When I try to climb up my arm just touches the wall but doesnt grab it...any way to fix it?

I believe you're not supposed to climb up - otherwise the game would be far too easy. Despite this, you can still climb up, but very slowly, and it's hard.

I only encounter this when I try to climb a taller wall using the swing technique. I think this happens now after the climbing nerf. (you could skip a lot of levels/puzzles by climbing walls)

go to console with ~ and type in climbcheat to enable the old way of climbing. It lets you swing-climb much easier. Frankly, I wish they hadn't nerfed climbing because when trolls intentionally screw over a public game, there are very few options to get you back on track...
