Hey there, Ray!

I'm sorry to hear that you're running into some issues with the game, especially for this long. Is it specifically memory leaks? What error message are you seeing when the game crashes?
ray2160 Jul 15, 2018 @ 5:57pm
1: DirectX encountered an unrecoverable error index buffer map failure not enough memory resources are available to complete this operation

2: create2Dtexture_PC ~&-csub-ger-recon-storch-col&~028bd4e9, 2048, 2048, 12, 7) failed: 8007000e = not enough memory resources are available to complete this operation

Have you updated latest chipset, driver, and firmware? Also, was your CPU/GPU overclocked? If so, lower down clock speed until it's stable.
As expected, every time someone mentions this error, the devs go all GHOST and disappear. I've had this many times, especially running full screen, try windowed bordered, it does help with this. This is just a trash SHG title being SHG, can't be fixed by end user.

Funny thing is it only ever happens on this title...no other games have issues but WW2.

Thank you very much for letting me know! Sorry for the delay, I have to go home some time haha. When exactly are you seeing this error message? Are you unable to launch the game at all? And what have you tried in order to fix this on your own? I want to seek help from another team, but I'd like to know what you've already tried so we don't retread old ground.

Not to hijack this thread, but for me I already run a clean boot, updated all local game files and run the latest NVidia driver, but it happens with many older ones too. This can happen after 30-40 minutes of game play or after a couple hours, it is random. I have had this error on at least 5 different occasions since the game released. CPU temps are never above 60c and same for GPU runs mid 50s air cooled. Doesn't happen on any other title but this one. I can leave and go play BO3 for hours and hours at 140fps pegged. Frame rates for this title are all over the map from 1-144 and anywhere in between. The frame rate for this title is so bad its not funny. Not a single map is better than another.

and Razer process are killed, due to past WW2 issues with that software.
The only other software I run is GeForce Experience and Discord...Norton antivirus is placed in ghost/standby mode while gaming. Regardless, AV doesn't interfere with any game I own...

The only potential workaround is placing this game in Windowed Bordered mode, this doesn't eliminate the problem, but does reduce the frequency of occurance.

As a contrast, I get smooth FPS and no problems like mentioned. I use the highest filmic AA option, all render resolutions are 1080p/native, shadows are high and so are their depth. I disable motion blur, that's about it, because I can reliably produce a crash with it, and fix it by disabling it. I don't need subsurface scattering, either, so it is off.

I have an i5-4590, gtx 1060 6gb, 16gb ram, game is on samsung ssd, page file is on separate, hard, disk 16000MB contiguous at start of drive, 60hz dell s-series monitors.

I notice that many with FPS complaints are using 144hz monitors.

Good luck to you all, I am confident that it can be sorted on your end, or perhaps a programmatic solution can be found once we all hone in on the issue - the 144hz monitor trend among these issues stands out the most to me, every time.
˜lokkandload˜™ Jul 16, 2018 @ 12:22pm
Well that is sad, since it's not an issue with all other recent Triple AAA titles, they run smoothly on ultra/high settings flawlessly on a 144hz monitor pegged for hours at 140fps. Coding for this game is trash it seems.
ANDO Jul 16, 2018 @ 12:38pm
Well, I'm not sure that is the issue, just a common monitor hz I have been noticing.
ray2160 Jul 16, 2018 @ 2:24pm
know my system is not overclocked at all

played fine until this last update I did everything under the sun to try to play nothing helps I play for 2 to 5 minutes and that's when it crashes I have all the latest drivers

something is seriously wrong hopefully it gets fixed soon with an update

Just understand it's not your rig....it's the lazy game coding. Frame rates are fine on all Triple AAA titles except this WW2 TURD.
