Why are some divisions locked?

It's been a year since I played the game. Why is that when I get into a match I can't play all the divisions? Some are not available.

Which one is unavailable??? Remember - when you start at level 1 after prestiging, some of the divisions are not available until you are at level 4 or 5. You can use tokens to unlock some of them, but not all.

Right now I'm on my second level of prestige.

When I log on to any 'War' map I'm given two lists of divisions to choose from.

'Custom' - Which seems to be all the divisions I've made changes to on my soldier home page

AND

'Standard Issue' - All divisions available but not with my custom weapons etc.

All I can choose from the 'Custom' list is Infantry, Airborne, Mountain and Resistance.

So you're saying I won't get ALL the divisions back until I'm prestige level 4 or 5??

You have Throwback Perks setup. You need to edit the locked classes to not include the throwback perks, then you will be able to use them. Revert them to regular basic trainings.

Thank you very much. Quite possibly the biggest issue I have with this game is how many features are simply not thoroughly explained.
