Maschinengewehr-42 is a complete joke.

The MG42 has a firerate of a maximum of 1500 rounds a minute. The MG42 ingame shoots slower than an old Maxim MG, are you kidding me?

This is the big great prestige weapon? A slowish firing MG that has obviously just been nerfed because of some CoD kiddos crying about balance and " Germanz too OP " ?!

If I could, I would refund this game.

Out of all the things to complain about and wanting to refund about, you pick the MG-42?

COD isn't realistic, lots of the guns aren't accurate, you also have 40 hours ffs.

For 1. Sure I pick the most Iconic MG of WW2, why not? In fact, it's the prestige MG. I expect more than that.
For 2. I know that CoD isn't realistic,but at least realism in terms of weapons should be applied, especially if these weapons have real names and represent real life weaponry.

And last, what do my hours have to do with it? Honestly, explain this to me. How many hours do I need to be allowed to have an opinion about ingame content? 1000?2000?

Jezz, most people who write game reviews for a living in magazines and online shows, have between 3 and 12 hrs.

It should've been clear to everyone that the game wasn't going to have completely realistic weapons, pretty much all cod weapons aren't represented how they actually were. The MG-42 is OP anyways it doesn't need to fire any faster.

You're complaining about how you wish you could refund the game, but yet you've played the multiplayer for 40 hours, you have had plenty of time to see how the weapons aren't realistic at all, but yet you continued to play the game.

Wow you must think everyone is a troll then. I'm also not defending the devs, but they made the game how they wanted to make it, it's the players fault for buying it, last I checked no one was forced at gunpoint to buy COD:WW2.

Pretty much the only complaint I can agree on is that prestige weapons do not make sense. I haven't used it yet, but I heard lots of people saying the SVT-40 sucks more than any rifle. The sawed-off shotgun is an absolute joke, the damage is as bad as the toggle action except it has less range/clip size/reload speed/more spread. So essentially worse in every way from an already pretty bad shotgun. Meanwhile the luftwaffe is superior in every way to the sawed-off, with the possible exception of reload speed as I did not compare those. The kar98 flips a full 180 and is so broken with its scope time and accuracy that it's causing the entire community to complain about snipers and cheating. Based off this thread the mg42 is dissatisfactory compared to the other MGs, too. Not much of an opinion on the mp40, doesn't seem like it's particularly worse or better than the rest of the SMGs

The only prestige weapon I feel is useful, is the MP-40. All the rest is not better than anything else in the inventory.
