Is hacking a problem in Call of Duty: WW2 PC?

thinking about buying, is hacking a huge problem? On average how many games do you see hackers?

201 hours - saw many over the double xp weekend a couple weeks ago, and ocasionally bump into a few at the moment, around 35-40 i've seen since launch. Hoping the devs sort an effective anti cheat into this game.

Exactly. Some people's mentality is to spend more money and entice other users to do the same on a product that has no anti-cheat in place as a solution to avoiding cheaters LOL! Buying DLC acutally reduces the chance of efficient core matchmaking, gives Activision money they don't deserve and is only useful at peak times.

I cannot believe people are still trying to justify there being no anti-cheat and that the onus should always should be on the community to deal with it.

No, not "all" see cheaters - JUST the 0.01% of the people coming to this board specifically to point them out. Do you know there are right now 22,493 In-Game? Do you know that 22,350 of them pretty much never come here because they are not having problems?

And the amount of people that complained about cheaters "still being there" in the first hour after the patch? When, again, the cheats were broken by the new EXE? B*tch, please.

ANYWAY - DLC means no cheaters. It's true since MW2. You want cheat free experience? Buy the season pass.

You want to play with cheaters, get mad, uninstall, let the best CoD since MW2 die? Be my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ guest, but you're dumb for it. BEcause as a DLC owner in multiple COD games, I am telling you: I play without cheaters in DLC. But if people don't buy it, it will be cheat cheat cheat in no time - it might not be that bad now, but just wait until key sites get a hold of keys for cheap...

Key sites very rarely EVER have more than like a single copy of DLC for cheap to sell, but they always have the base game for cheap - hacker banned, buy again.

On the contrary, buy DLC, hacker doesn't "waste money" on 50 dollar season pass just to be banned from it.... But they have no problem buying base game 5 times for 10 bucks a pop every couple of weeks...

DLC has kept my friends and I in CLEAN and HACK FREE games for 10 YEARS nearly on MW2. But the non-dlc list? When we play with someone too cheap to support the game? NOTHING BUT CHEATERS AND HACKED LOBBIES>

after about 50h of gameplay i guess there is an average of about 2-3 cheaters in every lobby. in my opinion there IS a problem with cheating.

I was always getting kicked by idiots on MW2-3 on DLC maps... They were always saying I was cheating... If "Buy DLC = no cheaters", why I was accused of cheating and getting kicked?

Evidence of a cheating infested game is all over the place in youtube clips, threads and replies from hundreds if not thousand customers.

The very few defending the game and claiming they never see cheaters is most likely cheaters themself. Scumbags.

You do realise the onus is on the developers to maintain and update VAC for known cheats and/or forbidden core file modifications - it doesn't work by magic. If SHG aren't even willing to act upon reports sent to them with evidence; do you honestly expect them to actually bother developing their automated database? Not one user has been VAC banned or even Game Banned over 5 weeks into release. I've seen over 1,000 videos sent to them - they are banning users on PS4 for exploits though....

Not sure if you're just deluded, a shill for the franchise or just want people to buy the DLC so you have players to play or simply all of the above but your ignorant stance is shameful and actually disrespectful to a lot of the community who do not play the game because of its problems. 22,000 is a pathetic figure at peak weekend for a game like this and the nosedive in players due to the growing cheating epidemic should raise alarm bells for the remaining players rather than desperately trying to defend the developers.
