If host have lag on own PC and have unstable connection, so all lobby play on low tickrate besides host. On killcam half of lobby have jerking movements. Nice netcode. At release i have 250+ fps on 1060, but now at 1080ti i have 115 cap and drop frames but no lag. WTF with the game? It now other game or what? People by game proceeding sys recomenadtion and across 2 years same game is quite another with same pc. All for 60 hz monitors balance??? Low tickrate, bad connection, low pc, far region, 60 fps and now u god of lobby. If your system characteristics exceed recommended, u have high speed connection and normal ping, unlim fps, u will disadvantage cause lag compensation or other reasons why weak players will be stronger is a penalty shootout for balance.

How many fps? U feel lag as overload your system or mouse? Or fps fine but looks like u play on low fps?
I tested other games on current pc settings and they run awesome as they should work. 250+ fps in DOOM and Black ops 4. Smooth gameplay on local or network (no difference). So something wrong with COD WW2 engine lol. FPS CAP and BAD NETCODE

the game is just very badly optimized... even tho my PC should handle it very easily => ryzen 3950X and 2080 ti. it still runs like ♥♥♥♥ sometimes. now i set graphics to normal and lowered AA.... it is running much better (and looks like ♥♥♥♥) but hey at least i can play without hick ups.

also my GPU is not running on 100% in the lobby anymore.. it used to do that and make the fan go crazy.

the same was happening to my 2nd pc with ryzen 2700x and vega 64 GPU

Game reduce FPS to monitor rate. And only when launch multiplayer exe. I tested specially single mode and it works fine (launch singelplay exe). And fps slider works, No reduce fps and smooth. But not work on multiplayer.
All who played this game in 2018 remember how in each match their fps DROP to 85 in menu. And users nothing cant to do with it. Only manually Select each match their fps from 85 to wanted count. After that patch (?) game allways run bad. No lag, but drops fps. This game die. And if user want play like competitive with wanted fps count he must buy new call of duty lol. Cause this part specially ruined.
60hz monitor + 25 fps = smooth (85 FPS cap in default game settings)
75hz + 25=100 fps - smooth (work)
100hz + 25=125 fps - smooth (work)
Why 144hz + 25 = 169 fps DROPS to 100 ?
Why 165hz + 25 = 190 fps DROPS?
Why slider 250 dont work correct as at release? I buy this game cause want to play normally. But cant play. I do not want to give more money for one product according to the characteristics, and then use a completely different one. Because someone will change the settings as he wants at any time. Other similar games do not have such big problems.

Yeah this game is lagging so bad it happens even in HQ. I'm sorry but I believe much of it is due to so many people now cheating and injecting so many cheats its disrupting everything. Hey we all can't have bad ISP's and settings.

Maybe its cheats and inject to netcode in match. But when i try to play on local game with bots game works same as multyplayer match with fps cap. conmirpwusn - u play on W10 or W7? On W7 game run more better. Besides netcode lol.
About bad ISP. In video with netcode analysis (BATTLEnonSENSE on YT) in game p2p traffic is not goin man to man in fight. It can transfer across some different computers when fight, host with yellow or red ping. Amazing. As a result, this is bad for the whole lobby. Its what i mean.

It's cuz the devs don't give a ♥♥♥♥ about this game now. Not maintained anymore.

I have a rx 590 and a 144hz monitor. I cap my fps @ 75 just because my gpu cant achieve more on this, game is smooth as butter. The mouse input is bound to the games fps, always has been like that in cod games. So if you get jerky fps, you get input lag. So i suggest you cap your fps to something steady.

and tbh, it's a shooter, you don't run this at ultra anyway for more visibility. You only want player models at highest setting, everything else can be on the lowest.

and host advantage was also always a thing in cod. Host = pad ping = host wins.
Although i rarely encounter this, i think it depends on how many players you have per region. If you get matched with people from your region, this problem is not really existent. If however you have to be routed to someone outside of that, ofc there's going to be ping problems.

I wish this game would have a server browser though, like i wished for every cod.

Yes, agree there is smoothness, and it is at a reduced FPS. Only before the game worked on any FPS also smoothly. If you have 144 and characters moving smoothly, then you really can not notice the problem. But for me this is expressed at ~ 100-120 fps in the fact that I see 2/3 of the events in the game according to the frames. If someone shifts quickly, then due to the lack of frames on the 144 monitor, everyone simply teleports to a random point, it is impossible to aim at it, especially if you are used to headshots. And only in this game. You can not intuitively predict the point of movement of the enemy. This sucks in terms of competition. Or it is specially shown for balance, about it there is in sbmm on YT (how game can show same event differently for players with different levels). The character begins to shift, you aim at the lead, but it is not there, not in any other place, they just don’t show it to you, because the game does not give all the frames that it should (someone teleport about 3 meter randomly in one moment then u die in next frames. And yet, the game was tested on W7 and there simply isn’t such a thing. And yet, there is nothing wrong with a full processor load if this does not affect the mouse. Apparently, no one wants to redo the game optimally for W10. It can be easily distinguished if the player has a delay (this is already evident from the registration of hits) or the lack of frames shown when your opponent disappears from the sight, a strange phenomenon.

If you got a 144 hz monitor without g-sync or freesync your statement would be true.
I have a free sync monitor and have zero tearing. Also people don't just teleport due to lack of desired hz. People teleporting is a net related issue. Has nothing to do with not hitting 144 hz.

Anyway, we could discuss this for hours, i tried giving you a fix at the cost of higher frames.
You simply don't need high frames, especially if your input is tied to them...

and yes, iv'e ran the game on win 7 too.
maybe go and disable fullscreen optimizations on your windows 10 and you would notice no difference. Out of all the testing you did, this didn't come to mind?

Its only on 1903 and 1909 W10, so sad. No fix from devs. Thanks man, i read about fixes and they dont work in this game. I tested today on old W10 and 200-250 fps without teleports, so smooth. Maybe depends of DX version in system. DX 10 (11) ? on W7 and DX12 on W10.

im having a ton of errors and bugs on steam after some updates and after cs go update too, ww2 stutters sometimes, fps drops... so bad
It's very easy, Just change the Texture Resolution and Map Resolution to High, thanks to me after that.
the post was from 5 years ago ^^
it had something to do with the driver i think :)
