I tested other games on current pc settings and they run awesome as they should work. 250+ fps in DOOM and Black ops 4. Smooth gameplay on local or network (no difference). So something wrong with COD WW2 engine lol. FPS CAP and BAD NETCODE
also my GPU is not running on 100% in the lobby anymore.. it used to do that and make the fan go crazy.
the same was happening to my 2nd pc with ryzen 2700x and vega 64 GPU
All who played this game in 2018 remember how in each match their fps DROP to 85 in menu. And users nothing cant to do with it. Only manually Select each match their fps from 85 to wanted count. After that patch (?) game allways run bad. No lag, but drops fps. This game die. And if user want play like competitive with wanted fps count he must buy new call of duty lol. Cause this part specially ruined.
60hz monitor + 25 fps = smooth (85 FPS cap in default game settings)
75hz + 25=100 fps - smooth (work)
100hz + 25=125 fps - smooth (work)
Why 144hz + 25 = 169 fps DROPS to 100 ?
Why 165hz + 25 = 190 fps DROPS?
Why slider 250 dont work correct as at release? I buy this game cause want to play normally. But cant play. I do not want to give more money for one product according to the characteristics, and then use a completely different one. Because someone will change the settings as he wants at any time. Other similar games do not have such big problems.
About bad ISP. In video with netcode analysis (BATTLEnonSENSE on YT) in game p2p traffic is not goin man to man in fight. It can transfer across some different computers when fight, host with yellow or red ping. Amazing. As a result, this is bad for the whole lobby. Its what i mean.
and tbh, it's a shooter, you don't run this at ultra anyway for more visibility. You only want player models at highest setting, everything else can be on the lowest.
and host advantage was also always a thing in cod. Host = pad ping = host wins.
Although i rarely encounter this, i think it depends on how many players you have per region. If you get matched with people from your region, this problem is not really existent. If however you have to be routed to someone outside of that, ofc there's going to be ping problems.
I wish this game would have a server browser though, like i wished for every cod.
If you got a 144 hz monitor without g-sync or freesync your statement would be true.
I have a free sync monitor and have zero tearing. Also people don't just teleport due to lack of desired hz. People teleporting is a net related issue. Has nothing to do with not hitting 144 hz.
Anyway, we could discuss this for hours, i tried giving you a fix at the cost of higher frames.
You simply don't need high frames, especially if your input is tied to them...
and yes, iv'e ran the game on win 7 too.
maybe go and disable fullscreen optimizations on your windows 10 and you would notice no difference. Out of all the testing you did, this didn't come to mind?
it had something to do with the driver i think :)
