How can i change the geo location in the game?

Hi Guys,

I Live in israel and i find a great trouble finding games appearently due to that reason.
Is there any way to change my geo location to europe so i can be matched with more people and find more games?

Nothing in the game itself. I dont think the country settings in Steam will change anything for matchmaking etiher. You may have to use VPN.
Well, its a long shot. In game it says (settings, details) that my reging is NO (Norway) and i have that in my steam settings - Interface/language and in Downloading/Region.
I never tested this to see if it change something ingame....

VPN is only solution, if you cant move to EU (Not UK...they are soon Out, just like we are)

U will have the worst Ping ever if u play with vpn...u are in a Bad Country for playing COD. Bad luck dude

Thats sad to hear, i don't know the stupidity behind this move. whats the problem to give the user the aportunity to pick the best region he find best for him like most of the games out there!!

becouse u will have a very bad ping. i would not like to play against u or with u with a ping over 100. the best solution would be a server in your region than maybe more players would play it there

Netduma router maybe. I haven’t tried setting a location with mine that isn’t in my area so I don’t know about setting home location in a different country.

i have a ping of 70 in most of eu countries so thats not a problem for me and neither for the other eu players.

The game is tracking your IP = ISP and your country. So, if you can change the IP to a European country, then you "maybe" will get into Eurpean lobbies. But i dont know. Some weeks ago, at night in a weekend, i was playing against a lot of south Europeans (Italy, Greeks, Spain...) and some from North Africa (Tunis, Algeria !!!!) So when playerbase is low, you can end up with players from all over. Normally i am up against players in northern Europe.
