How to get the new weapon (M38, Sterling, Type5, ITRA)?

M38, Sterling, Type5, ITRA is not available, there is a locker and no explaining how to get any of these. Could anyone say the way to get any of these?

There will be probably contracts for them later, but currently you have to either get one of their variants from a supply drop or complete their collection (talk to the quartermaster).

Yeah, I got lucky and got Heroic Itra and Type-5 skins in a supply drop.

Even if you've got the skin doesn't mean that you will have the weapon available. You've got to unlock the weapon first to use it.

for the event weapons, you dont need the base weapon to use the other variants, its only needed on the base weapons if you want to use a variant..
There are also some weapons that require you to prestige a division first before you unlock a weapon...

not really, the only thing collection do is giving you a weapon variant, but you dont need the collection to use the weapon if you managed to get a 2nd variant for the same weapon.


For the example: the BAR, even if you dont have that gun unlocked but you have a variant for it, you cant however use the variant on the same gun until you have unlocked the base verion first
BUT, its not the same for the event weapons, you can use it right away aslong as you got any variant for it

no, you can also get it from a supply crate, just not the same version thats in the collection.

Ok i try explain it for the ITRA burst, the variant you get from collection is called "lightning strike"..., that variant isnt available from supply crates, thats only from collection, but you can get the other 3 variants for it from the crates, such as the "femme fatale",bella donna 2" and the so called "Itra burst"

But receivng the variants doesn't guarantee that I will have the weapon, right?

if its a event weapon, it will give you the weapon to use right away... This goes for all the other events that has been added, like winter siege, resistance, sham rock and ave, and the now currently active blitzkrieg..

So the event weapons can be received even by completing a collection, right?
Like If I will get the lighting strike of ITRA then I will have the weapon. Am I correct?

yeah you will, but you will also get the itra burst to use if you manage to get the "bella donna" variant aswell..

However, the variant called lightning strike, thats only available from collection, it will not be granted from supply crates, SO, if you want the lightning strike variant collection now while the event is still active, once the event has ended, you will not be able to get that variant again but you can still recieve the 3 other variants after the event has ended, its just the lightning strike you wont be able to get after..
