Lol
In WWII, ALL guns except snipers had complete class-wide time to kill increases. From 3 to 4 smg rounds to 4 to 6, for example. Every gun is slower now - except for sniper rifles. And sniper rifles also have more 1-hit killboxes now, too. Some even kill one hit in the leg!
So time to kill for all guns except snipers was raised.
And time to kill for snipers was not only kept the same, but improved with lower shots counting in some cases in the legs!
That is the real problem. Quickscoping is no problem. The time to kill on everything else is the problem.
I specifically remember this because, at the time, a bunch of my buddies and I had our little clan team thing going, and we had one guy in the clan who was a good guy, but terrible player. 10 kills, to him, was about his best game ever and usually well below that. He just tried to have fun at his skill level. He was one of those guys that said everyone was cheating because, well, everyone could kill him.
Anyway, about this time he learned about quickscoping, figured out how to do it, put his little dot on his monitor, etc... all the sudden he was instantly topping the score charts every game, literally overnight. He thought it was really wonderful because he had been instantly transformed into a "great" player. We all thought he was a knucklehead, at this point because it was so obviously cheap and exploitive... and soon after we all stopped playing. lol
I stop back in every few generations of this game. I was excited about this one because the last game I played was BO3 and I couldn't stand the rocket jumping... so I was happy to hear that we were back to WW2. Regardless, quickscoping is a problem. It wasn't always a problem. I have seen players instantly transformed from crap to "superstar". Snipers that claim quickscoping is so hard, just don't want to lose their "superstar" top-of-the-charts status. However, snipers blowing away all the other competent players in a game, every single game, just by showing up, does not represent balance in the game, and, no, it is not the way any fps should be. All classes should consistently, on the average, be scoring about the same range.
MW2 "stopped playing"
Bro, one does not simply "stop playing mw2".
