ww2 wont start after update 4-6-2019

Thanks for the information that you have provided us, Now I recommend you to do these steps in order to solve this situation:
Disable all non-Microsoft services via msconfig (also known as clean boot)
1. Press Windows Key + R to open the "Run" command dialogue
2. Type "msconfig" into the box, then click OK
3. In the System Configuration window that opens, go to the Services tab
4. Mark the box to "Hide all Microsoft services". **WARNING** This step is very important. Failure to do this could cause the system to become unstable.
5. Click "Disable all", then click OK
6. A prompt to restart the computer should appear, please do so
7. After the system reboots, try the game again. Be sure to launch the game from the Battlenet launcher and not a desktop shortcut

WW2 and Battlenet ... they are smoking some premium weed @ activision?

add to your virus checker in excluded the path to your game exe file and it will play I put both
exe files in and it worked. Try turning your virus checker off and run game if it starts then it`s the virus checker then turn it back on run game it should not start again then you will know it`s your virus checker stopping it

Above path cannot be put into my virus programme. Already allows steam and ww2 . I can play all other games, so it has to be the update from activision/steam thats stopping ww2 mulitiplayer

The update yesterday was for me 7,02 GB..... First the DL through steam (5,2 GB)...
Then a new DL when I start MP. Both SP.exe and MP.exe was updated.

Make sure you have those new files in firewall/antivirus and not the old versions. Delete old rules and make new one. It's the best.

I didnt have any problem with the update. After the game (last DL) update, I quit the game and verify the game files, just to be sure everything was OK.

if you have fsecure make an exeption in the deep guard funktion and it should work.

i uninstall steam and ww2 and install it again and it works for me
