Are there really that many cheaters?

Because I see all these people on forums complaining but I've realised a pattern.

My skillful friends seem to not meet any hackers

Whereas my worser friends or people on the community hub just complain about hackers.

So I'm thinking maybe people are just getting killed and then complaining without putting in any thought to whether there is an actual cheater in their game. Can anyone back this up? Or do you think that there are cheaters?

most legitimate players have quit because of the lack of anti-cheat software... the problem is far worse now that practically the only people playing multiplayer are the ones running cheat software. This is why old games such as Rainbow Seige 6 are kicking this games ass in players, where as this game has dropped down to 3k people at various times.

for me, no, there are not a lot of hackers at all. 5 aimbots in 200+ hours and only suspect wallers at best, no one who scored really good and looked too suspect either.

In my 40-45 hours in MP, I have seen around 14-17 cheaters, some of which were very difficult to tell without running the Mountain division. I remember calling out a level 10 player for cheating and he left 3-4 seconds later. The amount of cheating in this game could be exaggerated, but cheats are not the core issue with WW2. They are just the vultures that are circling around this dying game.

I can understand why people think there are more cheaters then there are. People are looking for cheaters. If you start looking for cheaters everything starts to look like cheaters.

I get called a cheater in almost every lobby. If these people really beileved I was cheatering, then to them they just played with a cheater. Now we can guess that I am not the only one who get called out as a cheater who is not cheating. So then you start to see what happens. You get a cheater in every lobby because "you choose" to see cheaters in every lobby. I report everyone I beileve is really cheating, not just a skilled player. To me, and I have to say "to me" because ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ will come and say I am wrong, but TO ME I do not see as many cheaters as other claim.

Now I only really play TDM and I tend to be the #1 player in the lobbies so it is a bit easier for me to see a cheaters as I know that it should not be easy for someone to best me in-game. When I get killed and did not see the kill coming (not talking about getting killed from behind), then that clues me in on if I should start looking at how this player is playing.

The core issue is not that skilled players who alway place high are calling out cheaters. It is mainly the unskilled that call out cheaters. I know, like I said, I get called out as cheating in almost every lobby I join and it is almost always the unskilled players who are doing it.

The last few days have not been so bad for me but, for a while, it was day afte rday, match after match of people who were obviously using hacks.

sure theres undeniably cheaters in everygame but people make out like everyone but themselves are hacking.

No anti cheat. Thats your answer. You dont have to agrue with there are many or just a few, as personal expierence will vary.

No anti cheat is blatant false advertising and a joke in a major pc fps game in 2017.

You really think 22,5k don't play this? When it's never under 4k at the most obscure times? Peaks even just 10k mean 100k per day, minimum bub, and this game peaks higher than 10k. 780,000 sales on steamspy means about 1mil+ so far including private profiles. Not to mention legitimately family-shared copies for multiple kids and dad or mom to share etc.

Way more than 22k play.

Maybe your "skillful" friends are hacking themselves... it's abs bullsh*t when people say they don't run into hackers. There aren't hundreds of aimbotters but plenty of wallhackers, yes!
