Micro stuttering
Randomly throughout games I seem to get small micro stutters that freeze the game for half a second.

I have an i5 7400 cpu
gtx 1060 3gb
16gb ram

My settings in game or mostly on high and normal. I am playing at native 1080p.
Are there any recomended settings that I should use to try and minimize the amount of stutters or fix the issue?

Hi
the problem doesn't come from your config, i got the same issues and it's from Activision's servers. We have to wait for (again) a final patch wich will resolve it...

its problem on your side. download some software like evga precisionX and manually boost gpu at it maximum

Why would overclocking fix my issue? I get over 100fps, the issue is just the micro stuttering.

because it helped me thats why it could help you. will not explain you why because i am not some IT nerd. but these buttons overvoltage,KBOOST, overboost solved it all for me (gtx970)

Cpu is at 100 percent no doubt. It was one of the reasons i went with ryzen over a i5 as the i5 was always running at a 100% and getting stutters.

Yeah the cpu is at 100%, so that may be why im getting the micro stutters?

Right. Certain CPU models are overloaded somehow.

I use a 60Hz monitor and don't mind it. Some use a 144Hz and belive its more responsive.

Your CPU/RAM seem fine, are you on a SSD?

Don't use game "enhancing" software, does more harm than good

I have an ssd but unfortunately the game isnt installed on it because it is only 120gb and I dont have enough storage to fit it. I currently have it installed on a 1tb hardrive. I also am using a 60hz monitor.

More than likely my dude, it was the reason i went with the r5 1600. Granted the i5 gets better frame's but better frames and more stutter is not better. My cpu is at about 40% on this game no stutters and i have a rx480 8g.

Are games graphics optimised (setup automatically by the game)?

I've seen a price drop in SSD, could be because black friday (500gb $199, 250GB $134)

Lower your max FPS and turn sync every frame on.

A 60Hz monitor displays 60 frames per second, I've got my FPS set to 85 but 60 would do the same job. Hopefully gets rid of screen tearing.

Your eyes can't tell the diference past 80 frames, movies thearers only play at 30 frames

SSD wont cause screeen tear but reduce load times.

If you want to use higher FPS go for the gaming screen
