Stuck at "Connecting online services" for several days, please help!
I haven't been able to play COD:WW2 for 3 days now (PC). Before this the game was working just fine and NAT type was "open" in system info within game.

Game still starts just fine, but when I click "Play" on initial menu, it stucks to "Connecting online services" (https://i.imgur.com/lOZ08wu.png) and after few minutes it throws an error 103294 or 102526 (https://i.imgur.com/n85dyMG.png). Looks like the game does not even try to connect anywhere, or there is no response. System info does not show anything on NAT type anymore, but country is recognized correctly.

I have port forwarding configured correctly on router and also uPnP is enabled and like I said, everything was working until this situation started out of the blue 3 days ago.

So far I've
- reinstalled the game
- verified game files
- tried to run game with admin rights
- rebooted my computer
- updated router firmware
- disabled IPv6
- flushed DNS-cache
- double checked everything

I also tried to move my computer to DMZ and disable workstation firewall to make sure neither of those affect this, but no dice.

Yesterday I contacted Activision support and they said that these error messages and behaviour suggest that there is something wrong between Steam and Activision servers (or my Steam account) and then they said that I should contact Steam support about this. I haven't found any way to contact Steam support, since all contact forms say that I need to contact Activision support. :D

I have 100Mbps cable connection and every other game is working fine. Operating system is fully updated Windows 8.1. Router is Asus RT-N66U with latest DD-WRT firmware (v3.0-r33492).

Any suggestions?

Looks like I'm not the only one suffering this -->

For me it does not help to verify game files and as you can see from my original post, I've tried just about every other option as well.

Someone said that if you start nazizombie mode and then switch to multiplayer, it might help, but this does not do anything on my case, since zombie mode is just as dead as regular multiplayer.

Game is simply unable to fetch player profile from server.

I have exactly the same issue with Zombie mode as well same issue when starting and same error code. I am connect from Sydney Australia so it might be a server issue in our region. I just cannot play this game in any form of multiplayer mode since last weekend.

I'm from Finland, so it is not just your region.

I contacted Activision again and I linked this thread to my support case. This time they at least forwarded my ticket to higher level support personnel. I'll let you guys know if and when i get a response from there.

I hope they are able to provide a real fix and not just some general links to "how to configure port forwarding" -pages, like these support dudes usually do to get rid of customers with difficult problems. :D

I started the game and left it running on the menu for some time. It still cannot connect and fetch online profile, but something changed anyway, since the system info page is now showing that NAT type is now again "open".

The weird thing is that "internal IP" is ok, but "external IP" shows corrupt IP (0.255.0.255). If the game really tries to connect to that IP, then it is no wonder there is no response. :D

I exited the game and when I checked that same system info page again, it just shows "hidden" on IP details and NAT type is again empty.

I found discussion about the same kind of problem with COD:Black Ops (no fix there either):

Activision "next level support" provided lol-level instructions:

-----------------------------
Please try the following steps:
1. Disable any Antivirus or Windows defender
2. Restart your router and PC
3. Try to start the game again
-----------------------------

:D

Anyway, there is some development on this -->

I managed to get the game running when I connected my computer straight to cable modem (bypassing router). This and the fact that there are many other users reporting about the same issue, indicates that there has been some sort of update to ww2 few days ago that conflicts with some routers.

Thanks Frankie for all your efforts, we really appreciate it. Typical for game houses to screw things up after patching. I don't have the option to connect through direct connect via cable so I just have to hope they sort this mess out soon.

I just checked and same issue as before still the same error 102526 and no connection, the NAT is blank. so frustrating. My machine is upstairs away from the modem so I just have to hope they sort out. Let me know the ticket details and contact in Activision and I will email them as well.

Do you still have this problem ? I just bought the game and I have the exact same thing ...
jroxburgh Feb 12, 2018 @ 1:27am
Hi no I don't I rebooted my router and my fixed IP address had changed which for some reason had caused the issue plus there have been a few updates since, although it takes an age to connect i no longer have the error 102526.
Hope you manage to sort this Agurato as I know how much of a pain this is.

Hi jroxburgh, can you guide me to achieve the same solution??.

Got infinite with 3 other friends and one of my mates is having this same issue, really hoping that the IP fix works for him
