Read the driver notes, does it say that they are having issues with this game?

I know overwatch has issues with AMD drivers. Maybe something about your driver is not compatible with the game?

somehow we went from

The video card has been physically removed from the system, or a driver upgrade for the video card has occurred. The application should destroy and recreate the device. For help debugging the problem, call ID3D10Device::GetDeviceRemovedReason.

Had the same error changed the resolution from 1600 to 1900 and it is fine now...dunno wtf
