So steam does not protect fair gameplay. What ever happened to punk buster. Seems like everyone has aimbot. I played a match when at the end of the match killcam looked a bit suspicious. So i googled aimbots for COD WW2. It was funny. A site called {링크가 삭제되었습니다}IWANTCHEATS.NET was the first thing that popped up. So i go on the site and of course "give us money" is all over this site. So it seems that COD WW2 has been taken over by terrorist. Will steam do anything about this. I doubt it.

i was told a few years ago the cheat sites stay up because activision actually own them... might explain how the cheats are so fast comming out... otherwise you'd think they take them down by force with legal action... makes sense right?

I have a PS4 and XboxOneX now. Both of which very very VERY rarely ever have any form of cheaters aside from people finding ways to exploit a bug in all games.

PC, cheating is very common. The benefit of PC gaming is obviously higher framerates and better visuals.

I have to say though, if you want to play games like Destiny 2, CODWWII, Battlefront II, or any of this seasons big online shooters without having to worry about hackers, then the XboxOneX has visuals on par with high end PC gaming (assuming you're ok with only 60fps). I won't be buying my games on the XboxOneX and reserve it mostly for games like Forza and Halo, but if it's something you really want, then that's the best way to play now.

If you don't want to break the bank, the PS4Pro plays all the same games and is significantly cheaper and still offers great visuals and performance that most users won't notice. (and it has WAY better selection of exclusive 1st party titles like Last of Us, God of War, Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn, etc)


Hell, I did a Destiny 2 comparison of the PS4Pro vs the PC version and the only real difference is that high framerate on PC.


TLDR:

Get PC for graphics, assuming you'll have to deal with cheaters occasionally
Get XboxOneX for graphics but it's expensive and has barely any games
Get PS4Pro for better deal and more exclusive games.
Get Switch if you're a thrill seeker...

I've met one cheater, and then I've had kids in 50% of my games calling cheats and telling me to get cancer. I know there are cheaters, but people are really quick to call cheats and rage...

I complained to sledgehammer games and activision support on twitter about that site and I provided them a link to it. I suggest you all do the same. If enough people complain to them maybe they will respond or implement better anti cheat. They have our money and I doubt the greedy ♥♥♥♥♥ even care.

They stay up the same way pirate bay, and other illegal websites do, through multiple cloud servers scattered throughout the world. Lose on server use the backup, then another backup, then another, etc. And a cease and desist letter isn't going to do much.

Well if they can't eliminate the cheats from the internet Activision as a company should pay their employees to put in a better anti cheat protection. If they don't they don't care. I want cheaters banned from multiplayer, is that too much to ask?
