Call of Duty: WWII - Multiplayer

İstatistiklere Bak:
Obvious aimbots in every match
Starting to see aimbotters in almost every match. This really shouldnt be such a wide spread problem on a AAA title. Worst I've seen in recent FPS games. Any hope of it getting fixed or was the last COD over run by these losers too?

Throughout my entire time playing cod over the years ive only played against 1 aimbotter and 1 wall hacker,
lol
Pff stop playing on PC, it will never stop, its infested already, i already quit playing because i know it wil never stop. The only thing to punnish those who didn't think about it is to stop playing, if they have no player count, they will ony have those hackers in game, if the Devs want to earn money on hackers, wel then just boycot the game! not that hard!
BTW hackers and cheaters use hacked accounts, they don't get banned but your account will be banned because those hackers don't have steam accounts!

Well, look at this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xvv5rnGHHfI

That video is over a month old. Google COD aimbot and you get a professional website that is selling what I guess is just a modified version of an aimbot for Cod thats been around for years. The real question is what is going on? Activision has to be aware of this, so whats the answer? The developers are in collusion with these POS? What other conclusion can you come to?

Not much profit in chasing cheaters around. They probably dont care until it starts effecting sales, even then, its difficult to quantify how much it would be hurting sales and might be hard to argue for more resources going into anti-cheat.

Bottom line, they dont care, or it wouldnt be this big a problem.
I find it hard to believe they wouldn't at least download the file and release patches to counter it. It is a 10 second google search. Jesus, why wouldn't they at least have that video flagged? I am inclined to think they are complicit with it being so obvious.

It will ban the user who owns the game.

It's not that easy. The cheats are made by pros who are running a big bussines.
These guys are professional programers, not kids.
You pay a subscription and get access to a 'client' which can be loaded off a USB then removed which lets you load the undetecable hack direct form the cheat site into RAM where it's not stored permanantly.
It bypasses VAC easily. Most bans come from hidden admins or kids using free public hacks which are detected.
If VAC finds a way to detect a cheat it will gather bans then release them in waves so the cheat makers don't know how the detection happened, at least for a few days before it gets updated and is once again undetectable.

Our only defense are rentable servers that are admined by the guys running it. It's literally the only way to keep cheaters out

Loaded into memory? I had no idea they had become that sophisticated. I haven't played a COD or any online FPS regularly for probably 4-5 years. Would I be wrong in assuming it is rampant in every online FPS at this point>? I guess I am retiring from PC FPS games. To be honest I think the gaming and streaming industry is long overdue for some investigative journalism exposing the amount of high level hackers and streamers. I have little doubt it is any different than steroids in pro sports at this point. I have watched clips of high profile streamers playing PUBG etc on the PC and very often they seem to have some kind of aim assist at the least and aim very unnaturally. After doing a little reseasrch into how the current aimbots work I would not be surprised if they're use is very common in all PC games. I always thought it was a on or off situation but apparently, current aimbots can be adjusted to make the player appear somehwat human and be turned off and on at will , so only the very ingnorant people using them will get caught. Shroud on PUBG is a good example, I have no doubt he is a far superior player than 99% of the playerbase but I have seen many clips where his reticule will insta lock or start tracking someone that there is no way he could have seen. I hear people make the argument "why would he hack in a non competitive game" and "he was an amazing CS player"( with maps that you played 1000s of times and every inch is memorized unlike PUBG). whos to say he wasn't hacking in CS and it isn't rampant there even in the pro scene and a person would have just as much motivation to hack while streaming ( It is they're source of income and Shroud sure doesn't get views becasue he has an entertaining personality). Jon Jones is better than 99% of MMA fighters and he has most likely been cheating his whole career. I don't mean to make this a Shroud witch hunt, but I wonder if like Pro sports high level PC gaming is just as dirty and unfortunately that affects the average player as well.

no they just bann the game on the account, so hackers take control over a surten account, they hack and aimbot, and they get caught, but its the owners account, so he will never be able to pay ever again until he buy a new game.
BTW guys did you know they use the same hack they used for COD modern warfare. So why do we keep on supporting a company that supports hackers!!!

Well, I have been away from the franchise since Blops and MW2 . I don't recall hacking being this rampant ever, let alone right at launch. But it makes sense if they have just been using the same basic hack for a few years now. That really says all you need to know about a developer not even addressing it after several years of it being common knowledge in the games own community. I was able to find out about it in minute of google searching.

I have to admit.. there has been obvious cheating going on.. looking on kill cams and the end one. How they are killing so fast..

It is like they are robots that have stereo vision. The most impossible of kills even if you are laying on the ground and another person is standing up in front of them..

It is just sick that these people play games.. obviously they rely on cheating because they cannot play the game properly!
Look at this way, the game costs $60 and most people will only play for a few months. Since a cheat only costs about 8 bucks, its pretty cheap to spend those months mowing everyone down and getting lawls. If theyre cauight in a few months, meh, theyre probably bored of it anyway, if not they can just buy it again.

The Devs really have to take this issue sierously for the problem to be solved. Cheaters exist in other games of the genre, like BF, but theyre no where near as prolific. Obviously the CoD guys are dropping the ball, they look pretty bad right now compared to their competitors.

Give the game a negitive review for cheats, thats about all we can do to motivate a change in attitude, though its unlikely anything will have an impact.

The devs are right now closing posts about cheaters because of naming ans shaming. I have reported at least 10 cheaters, all with video proof. Guess what? No bans.....Now we see who's more important for the devs. This game is going dowwn......

It might be steam that does that, as they have a rule about not shaming people on the public forums.

Unless you're talking about their own forum, but steam forums isn't allowed to publicly shame. Go through proper channels, developers are not gonna read every single topic and constantly scan for people that busted hackers.

Hey there, I'll go ahead and report this video up to the Security & Enforcement Team, but naming & shaming is against the Steam Rules & Guidelines, so I'll have to lock this thread.

If you run into any additional cheaters make sure to report them in-game, through Steam, or if you need to report up a video reach out to me to via PM on the Call of Duty forums[community.callofduty.com]. Thanks.
