However, it is going to take some time to get used to m+kb setup before you become competent.
Few tips to get started:
1. Look for Mouse settings in Windows and find a box something along the line: "Enchance pointer precision", and disable it, leaving it unchecked. This is related to mouse acceleration that can single handedly screw up development of consistent aim with the mouse.
2. Go to Call of Duty mouse settings and make sure Mouse smoothing is OFF and also the other thing there is, but leave RAW mouse input ENABLED. These settings secure precise mouse behavior and from here on now the only thing that you need to worry about is Mouse sensitivity.
3. Which comes next, mouse sensitivity. Make it LOW, learn from the get-go to use your whole arm to move the mouse, not just your wrist.
4. Set your mouse sensitivity even lower.
5. Lower your mouse sensitivity even more. This is crucial for developing skillful aim with the mouse. Pretty much every professional FPS player on PC use extremely low sensitivity (to give an idea what it should be; you should be able to do only 180-360 degree turn with your mouse when you pan your mouse from one side to another, across the mousepad.
6. Get used to it no matter how hard it feels at the beginning, you will get used to it rather quick if you just stick to it.
7. Get used to your mouse and the sensitivity in the gun range in the Social Headquarters, maybe try some 1v1. Try your best not to get frustrated if you get mauled down.
I hope this helps you getting started. Learning can be fun if you stay level headed. Have fun!
