Hitmarker sounds...?

Is it just me or is actual sound of hitting someone (not the gun sounds) sound a bit off? Like its a bit high in the mix for starters and the tone seems very 'tinny'... it does not sound as 'meaty' as it has in the last few games to me...

Also in the menu it has an option for the hit 'volume' but its either just on or off...i would at least like to be able to turn down the effect, not actually turn it off...

Does this annoy anyone else or am i just turning into a grumpy ol gamer :P

i have it too i have no idea why its like this i was kinda hoping it would be good as in if you turned the sound lowe it too would be the same its not and its starting to give me headaches
