hi everyone i was play from yesterday in safe mode singleplayer. now after update its write disc error read common
i have alreadytry to fix but noit work everyone anwser?

Yeah I can understand that and ideally you won't have to, but while this is being worked on and investigated the workaround is to install MP as well.

Having the same issue, verfied files as suggested when the problem happened in 2017, I have re-installed, restarted the computer nurmerous amount of times. Lets hope there is a fix soon or I will be going to steam for a refund!

For me I'm getting the Disk read error at start up, it then ask if a wanted to start in safe mode, I checked yes and it gives me another disk read error. I checked the integrity of the files reported as 100%. I left at level four under normale shut down. My system is totally up-to-date.

Thanks for all of the info and that is definitely different. Are you getting the same Disk Read Error or is it something else? Does this happen regardless of which mode you are trying to start, MP or Campaign?

Disc read error 'common'. I verified all the files, and still get the error. Game worked fine before the update. Development team please solve and post the solution. Thanks!

Installing the multiplayer removes the error, working fine now!

The original issue still in place, if you install only SP, the game won't start...

I don't want to be poor people buying this game right now, and install only the SP, and realized didn't start after 2/3 hours of download... I hope the game developer will fix this soon

Yeah it is still being worked on. I'll try to jump back on these threads once there is an update or some news about the issue. At the very least I'm glad that installing MP seems to be a guaranteed workaround.
