Campaign unplayable, crashing
I'm trying to play the first mission and I have not even made it to shore before the game crashes. Last few times it has been a create 2d texture error= not enough memory resources available, so I checked direct x, my drivers, verified files, all good. played again, crashed with no error message this time, just ctd. It's honestly just ridiculous at this point because I really wanna play but im just tired of sitting through a 5 minute cutscene just to crash. I have a 2080ti, i9990k, 16 gb ram, I really don't see how I dont have enough memory resources available.

Turning all settings that allow 'extra' to high helped me with a Vega 64. On the third level of the campaign though, I have to snipe from a tower to protect a colleague but there is a graphical glitch that makes the ground below appear as fog so that I can only see gun flashes. Needless to say I keep failing this part...

This game don't support SLI. There is an unofficial sli support, posted in mp forum
I used it and it works better then nothing.

See this post in MP forum:

Use min. 4 GB pagefile helped me. I used 2 GB pagefile and game was crashing very often.

Ok, so, just installed CODWW2 today on...
Asus B150-PLUS
Samsung SSD 970 EVO 500GB
Intel Core i5 6500 @ 3.20GHz
16.0GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

Game kept crashing out, same error about not enough memory. So I've optimised COD in the NVIDIA GeForce Experience, turned of the Game Overlay, and set my PageFile to Min4Gb>Max 6Gb (it was turned off). It now seems to be stable and playing. I suspect the culprit was the lack of a page file, but with 16Gb to go at, you'd think it would be fine. Anyway....

Set pagefile to Auto. If man, set max to 20 000MB if you think of playing MP.
This game is the most demanding Cod-game, whentested with afterburner; it used in some demanding maps/game modes: + 19 000 MB of page file(virtual mem) and 11 000 MB Ram.
I had only Steam running in backround. Nothing else, but win 10 processes/services.
