When I launch it I get:
"Failed to start game with shared content. Please update the following:
COD WWII: Multiplayer"
But if this was the case then why not just put it as 1 download like Infinite Warfare. Almost every cod has had MP & SP seperate, ♥♥♥♥ even MWR did.
Now, I have heard that if MP is in the process of downloading, then you won't be able to.
Unless this is some sort of regional thing.
Nope, with the MP download paused and clicking play on SP it still says the same error message and restarts the download. It was a European code, I live in the UK.
Either stop installing it (like cancel the entire MP download and maybe verify the SP cache) or just wait for MP to finish.
Well I've already downloaded 6GB so there's no point stopping it now. Just makes no sense as to why they do that.
I downloaded, played, and beat the SP campaign without ever installing MP
Now a wee while later I decide to fire it back up for another go, and it gave me some error, so I verified game cache, which said 29 files need downloading (though it didnt download any)
now it says MP needs to be updated before I can play SP.
I have no interest in playing MP, and really dont see the point in splitting SP and MP if you're required to install both anyway.
It's either a change from an update, or as someone else said it's because of some stupid MP reward for completing the campaign.
Either way, it sucks.
