I'm running a 1080ti and it was perfectly fine yesterday and today not so much. Same issue with DXGI hanging
Sorry to see you are running into that error, but when did it start happening? Did it pop up after any kind of update with the game, your drivers, Windows, or anything that you noticed?
It is hard to say what to try without knowing how long it has been occurring for you, but try going into the Steam folder for COD WWII and update DirectX through that. If it just started occurring try uninstalling your graphic card drivers and reinstall them. Lastly, you said this error is just popping up for you randomly and not in any specific modes, maps, or levels (campaign)?
Hey there, sorry for the delay in response, but did the patch on the 8th resolve that issue for you? If not, could you provide some details about what is happening exactly, for how long it has been happening, and what you've tried to do to fix it so far?
i tried to reinstall the game , steam , windows ,last graphics drivers , directx in the folder common redist , low resolution , verify the integrated games .... nothing work i ve always the same error often when its download game in qg or at the beginnig of a party.
error message :

Thanks for the quick response and update. What do you mean it is "often when its download game in qg or at the beginning of a party?" Are you referring to when you are in matchmaking or when you just join a party?
You've tried a great deal already, but could you please run DXDIAG, CPU-Z, or something similar and then share your computer specifications here? Mainly gfx card, RAM (amount and type), and CPU type and details.

go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers
(right click on empty space create new 32 bit value)
make a new key name it TdrLevel set the value to 0
exit regedit and reboot
