I dont't know, remember Black Ops and MW1? Your allies actually did sometimes and on occasion Price got attacked by dogs and you had to help him (this wasn't even scripted)
Now the dogs run trough a maze, completely ignoring anyone else just to get to you.
On the good sides, you can save 90+% of the soldiers who landed at Normandy by just chilling in a crater while they get to the seawall. The MGs will focus solely on you.
