Single Player - Discussion/Rant

I know people don't buy this game for the single player and the fun is in the multiplayer, but since I can't log in to the multiplayer, I am resigned to play single player. And I have to say, what a piece of ♥♥♥♥.

Friendly AI seem to have the same intelligence as AI from a 90s student project. I understand that you don't want the AI killing all the Germans, but if I'm going to be Rambo then let me be Rambo and just remove friendly AI all together.

Second the enemy AI are bullet sponges. The only way to effectively kill them is to use some type of rifle and get head shots. Which I can do, but not if every map changes my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ LOAD OUT! I don't like the grease gun. I don't want the grease gun. I have to use an entire magazine to kill an enemy. Probably my ♥♥♥♥ skill, but I end up dumping it as soon as I can for a kar98k just so that I can progress, relatively quickly, through the map.

Which brings me to the stupid ass timed events. During cut scenes, which seem to be 20% of the game, all I have to do is press one button, sit back and watch the movie. Let me play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game Activision. On top of that, for some reason, Daniels, the character you play, is a one-man army. I have to get in the MG, use the sniper, call for artillery, shoot the tank, get the flame thrower (which is a piece of junk). How is this super soldier still only a private?

I get it. You want the player to feel like they are doing something, but it's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sometimes being the only one doing EVERYTHING. Which brings me back o the useless AI. I have never wanted to shoot team mates so badly.

Idk, it's Activisions 20th COD game. You'd think there'd be something more exciting. This just feels like a MOH game. The developers should be ashamed to say they worked on this. I know I would.

TLDR; Single player is a stinking pile of horse dung.


On a side note. The little of multiplayer that I did play last night, was fun!

Agreed....and not to mention that he campaign is way to short, finished it in one hour.

What a JOKE !

The multiplayer you can forget until they do something about the "MAGIC" players in there.
( which will never happen ).

Too bad destiny 2 gets boring after 2 weeks.

Gentelmen ... Get BF1. You wont be disapointed. Its worth every dime.
