SP and MP are two different downloads, but to play one you need to download the other one as well LOL

I wanted to play the SP while downloading the MP, but it turns out that both versions share contents with eachother. So you gotta download both to play one (makes sense yeah).
For anyone with a slow internet like me (5 down / 0.4 up) this is a nightmare.

You're retarded, you don't have to download both to play both. U can download the multiplayer aspect and get access to zombies and multiplayer or download the single player for access to the campaign only, get a grip bud.

If you were able to do it do you care to share with the rest of the class how you did so? As you can't launch it straight from the files and you can't launch it through steam. Physically impossible without DLing the multiplayer.

I have the same problem. It seems you getting this when you are Downloading both, the multiplayer and the singleplayer. I startet the download last night. First the singleplayer and after that the multipayer. When i woke up today the singleplayer was ready and the multiplayer was still downloading. So i startet the singleplayer and got the "Failed to start game with shared content. Please update these games first: Call of Duty WWII: Multiplayer" message. So i deletet the multiplayer. To see if i can play the singleplayer then. But know steam is updating the singleplayer. That is properly this big patch you need to play the game. And it is not installing when you download both single- and multiplayer at the same time.

I play the single player campaign and have not D/L the Multiplayer yet. I tried to play the MP after playing some of the campaign & it started to D/L so I cancelled out.

He still havnt answered the question cause I’m still having the same issue. All that talk but he’s quiet now. Trying to delete MP cause it’s looking like it’s taking up 73.24 go worth of space. I just want to play the campaign.
