I can't even get past the introduction cutscene without the game crashing. I've updated my video card drivers to the latest version and verified my steam cache, as well as rebooting my PC a few times. This is just stupid, a AAA game release should not be this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up on release.

I can get in and play for up to 10ish min, but it inevitably crashes every. single. time.

Have you tried booting the game in safe mode? I tried that but it did bugger all. Still crashing.

yeah tried safe mode but doesn't seem to have any effect. Even updated to the latest NVIDIA Geforce driver for cod ww2 but it had no impact. GOD HELP US NOW :(

MSI Afterburner makes the game to crash after the logo. If you have it running close it and the Rivatuner Statistics Server (RTSS).

Thanks for the advice guys but i had tried all of them earlier and they didnt help my case. Finally, the solution came down to simply upgrading my internet explorer from IE8 to IE11 and reboooting. Geez Activision making my work for it :P

Pupper - how does the IE impact the game? I'm having the same crash issue - not even getting to a cut scene

We need to install a windows update KB00XXX something in order to make the game work but that update is too old and wont nstall on ur desktop now. So after googling about the content of the update i realized its an IE11 upgrade so i did that manually and voila the game started working. Also, be sure to update to the latest geforce driver just to cover all potential crashes.
Add me if u still face this issue and we can troubleshoot it

can you please name the exact update name? there are many patches for IE11 and i don't know which one is the right one

I don't think this solves it for most of us back in the other thread (http://steamcommunity.com/app/476600/discussions/0/1479857071259070124/).

I have Windows 10 Pro, which already shipped with Edge and IE11, with all the latest updates and the game still doesn't launch!

For me and at least one other guy the solution to constant freezes (memory error quits and freezes about every 2-5 minutes, though being able to start to play) was to leave NONE of the graphic settings on EXTRA, but high.

This worked for me, I also updated to latest amd radeon drivers, and added exception for the folder in my antivirus. Then I did this KB update, and all working....!
