Why is it taking ages to download?
My game is taking almost a whole day to download. My network is working great but the blue disk usage line is all the way at the bottom. I dont know how to fix it and I think its the reason why my download is taking forever. Thanks you for any help.

Try restarting Steam and/or change download location temporarily usually works for me.

It didnt work for me but I noticed that every other game uses my disk but WW2 doesnt. Its probably just the game and how many people are downloading it

No problems for me, got it downloaded in minutes. Then again, downloading it now shouldn't matter cause it comes out exactly in a week.

Maybe you should tell your parents to get Fiber Optics.
You may need to configure Port Forwarding on your router. Try updating latest firmware on your router too.

i would suggest not to preload it takes even longer to unpack once its live , its been the standard for all the fall games so far on steam average 30 min to hour to unpack, with decent net speed you can download it when live in 10 to 15 min, but if you got slow internet that takes hours go with the preload i guess.

I figured it out. We got another router and now it downloading fast. I still cant get teh disk usage line to go up like it does for other games, its probably just the game

net speed dont matter when you try to prepack , all based on how much stuff on hard drive and how fast it is so good luck with unpacking. several people have reporting on unpacks this fall over an hour so hope you got a good drive to unpack quickly.
