there 2 ways for german campaign,both not going to end well.

1 showing off how german young kids ,soldiers,entered slavic territories and commit humiliation and genocide. just like indians in america.
this is not will be liked by the most of germans and their fans

2 showing some bad germans and atleast 2 good german guys who suffering and dont want to kill poor slavics,dont respect their cruel officiers and other... showing the bad russians and americans,telling that bad people were everyside

The western nations did not feel on the skin the real taste of the nazi occupation, that is why they are frivolously asking for a German campaign here on the forums. in Paris they have kept with their daily life, just under a different flag and a different administration. yet in the east tens of millions of Soviet citizens were killed

Far not all Germans (it was around 30%) voted for Hitler's party, the NSDAP in 1933.
2. The rate of German war criminals was not higher than that of for example Soviet war criminals and not significantly higher than that of British or US American.
Like in any army, there were of course "black sheeps", but like not each Red Army soldier was a communist, not each Wehrmacht soldier was a nazi. You guys should better start informing yourself a bit about the past and the truth instead of doing such racist insults and wrong claims.

And in all likelihood, it's a good thing for the Capitalists that the NSDAP won the election. If the Kommunist party won(It almost did), and Germany went Communist, France and the UK would be royally screwed.

The US killed around 2.2 million civilians in the war, less than Germany, and far less than the Soviet Union, but the point is nobody is innocent in reality. Yeah, the Wehrmacht had war crimes just like any other army, but the SS were the ones who had control of the concentration camps. Most people in the Wehrmacht had no authroity in the matter(It also caused mass conflict with the OKW/Wehrmacht and Waffen SS).

Bottom line, propaganda, both past and present, has colossal effects on the human brain, look at this OP(If it's not a troll thread that is). We've gotten Soviet campaigns without the purge of 22,000,000 being mentioned. We can get a Wehrmacht campaign. People need to grow the ♥♥♥♥ up.

The German campaign does not need to end well, it just needs to show another side, and it makes sense, since COD games about ww2 have been about different faction, they can implement it just like in Panzer Elite Action Gold Edition.
That game has 2 German campaign Afrika Korps and ost battalions.
This is what a netural WWII game looks like, no agenda no propaganda, just men of the flag.

About 1 million Russians alone joined the Germans against soviet union, and millions of farmers supported them with food and so on.
For not talking about the Orthodox church, who was the most oppressed under that Bolshevik regime.
The 'soviet citizen' was put in to the frontline, or ether in front of a death squad.

The American campaign in MW1 didn't "end well" either, they were all killed by a nuke. So the argument fails, it can be a campaign where the soldier you play dies/gets captured anywhere, doesn't have to be Berlin

Or they could just show the war crimes commited by the Germans through the Allies campaign(s), either the crime taking place or the afterath(therefore acknowledging the German war crimes) and in the German campaign the show the war crimes commited by the Allies in the way.

There are many ways to tell a story from the German perspective in a video game without having to show the Germans commiting the crime and at the same time acknowledging them, it all depends on the story telling.
