During your first foray into the lost paradise that is the Tau System, you'll sneak into the heart of a Sentient city ruined by criminality and corruption. But this is only the beginning, and marks a new journey for Warframe with much more of Tau to come, including another as-yet-to-be-revealed location launching with the full update later in 2026. Stay tuned for more details soon.


Those who entered this year's in-game TennoLive Relay bore witness to a wild new addition to the Tenno fleet: their very own Vessel. You can still jump in and experience it for yourself until the Relay closes on July 13 at 10 a.m. ET.

Think you missed out? Think again! Starting July 13, any Tenno who has completed Vor's Prize will be able to see and personalize their Vessel from ANY Dry Dock on the Star Chart.

Your journey in this new Star Chart begins in the Bloom-soaked decay of Fornax, a lawless ring city densely populated with all manner of degenerates and drenched in unending waves of madness-inducing black rain. Between the addicts in its slums and the thugs working its docks, reaching the casino at the heart of this urban hellscape requires quick wits and an even quicker trigger finger.


A noir-inspired Warframe working with Albrecht Entrati to infiltrate the Sentient criminal underworld, Brysko chases down leads with a relentlessness matched only by his cynicism. Although silent to the world, his inner monologue belies an honorable ethos… at least until the occasion calls for his Corecracker or Rain & Shine — an Exalted Pistol and a pair of brutal Fist weapons, respectively.


The enforcers, hired hands and knucklebusters standing in your way comprise a new faction of Sentient enemies who have evolved far and away from the familiar foes of the Origin System. Though you're more than equipped to take them out, don't get too cocky, especially when the black rain begins to fall…


Control over the many rackets in Fornax rests with the Hunra, a brutal kingpin at the center of the Sentient underbelly who enthusiastically dispenses violence, fear and Bloom to maintain his seat at the head of the table. To reach him, you'll need to overcome his legions of loyalists, any of whom would happily dispatch you to curry favor with the Boss, who seems as untouchable as he is implacable.


Fortune rarely smiles in Fornax, but when it does, the gamblers hunched at the casino's Portau tables earn the closest thing here to an honest living. Warframe's first original card game is built on unique suits of Blooms, Cores, Moons and Suns, and offers some welcome excitement amidst the hustle and heartbreak of Tau. Why not test your luck and play a few hands for yourself?


Doomy, gloomy, yet undeniably stylish, our Gameplay Demo's seductive allure was all the more potent thanks to the sultry sounds of a particular musical number sung by Sentient crooner Larynde. If you haven't heard it yet (or just want an immediate re-listen), the visualizer for "View From The Top" is also now available on the Official Warframe YouTube Channel.



Our Fall 2026 update has been named! Before you venture beyond the Origin System to Tau, we will first introduce the 66th Warframe, two new Deluxe Collections, a highly-anticipated Rework, the next Prime Access release and more. Join us for our next Devstream on September 4 to learn more.


Darkness comes for the scream queen with her first Deluxe Collection since 2016: a suite of Customizations evoking nightmares and the nocturnal, designed by community artist Mischka[www.instagram.com]. Banshee mains can also look forward to an upcoming Rework that will improve her sound-based Abilities and overall playability.


We're working hard to spruce up Albrecht Entrati's original designs for his indomitable, concrete-based Warframe, Qorvex. With a new Skin and Customizations inspired by gargoyles and gothic architecture, this radioactive behemoth has never looked better.


The luminously lustrous Citrine will receive a Prime polishing when she enters Prime Access later this year, crystalizing her greatness with pristine, golden glam. She'll release alongside upgraded Prime Weapons, Accessories and more, which we'll reveal in greater detail soon, so stay tuned.

Our annual Cosplay Contest returned to the Canada Life Place, with a fresh roster of designs from around the Origin System. Contenders were judged on performance and craftsmanship by special guest judges, to the resounding cheers of their fellow Tenno.


The Origin System’s finest artists delivered once again! Contest finalists saw their work displayed for all to behold at TennoCon — a testament to the passion and creativity of Tenno from all over the world.


Presenting your winners of the #TennoCon 2026 Dojo Showcase! Participating decorators were invited to submit their best in-game builds from over the past two years. With more than 75 submissions from three different Warframe builds, narrowing down the winners was no easy feat.

Award winning propmakers Hoku Props returned to TennoCon with another iconic cosplay: Father Lyon Allard, the Harrow Protoframe! Meticulously crafted with an astounding attention to detail, this was one of their most faithful designs yet — an impressive tribute to an iconic character from last year's The Old Peace (and his many devoted fans).


France-based costume and prop creator arborealkey crafted a most captivating cosplay for Sister Marie Leroux, and her ethereal presence was one of the highlights of the showfloor here in London, Ontario.


Blink certainly stepped up to the challenge with their latest project: Old War veteran and infamous heartthrob, Roathe. With a loving eye and the incredible attention to detail they're known for, they brought this fearsome figure to life as faithfully as we could have fathomed.


Plexi Cosplay brought to life the Brewer of Hues, Verminia! Delighting Soulframe fans on the convention floor with astute aura assessments, her presence was as lively as her designs are delightful.

This year's TennoLive mainstage presentation took us beyond the limits of the Origin System to Tau, a place that until now has only existed in our collective dreams (and of course, memories via The Old Peace). Community Director Megan Everett guided Tenno through their first foray into Warframe's first ENTIRELY NEW star system, which will include fresh worlds to explore as ongoing cinematic narrative flourishes in a massive new region beyond anything you've ever known.

Coming to all platforms later this year, our next major update will begin to answer the question: "What has become of Tau?" While the future will ultimately offer a wider look at this vast binary star system, the path to get there begins in Fornax — a sprawling Sentient metropolis consisting of Slums, Docks, and seedy gambling dens. The extent of Fornax's corruption is apparent in both the addicts and criminals who populate it, as well as the unending black rain that pours down on them during frequent storms… with horrifying results.

Albrecht Entrati is already here, having enlisted the help of a new, noir-inspired Warframe named Brysko to help him infiltrate the Sentient underworld and reach the Hunra. This fearsome kingpin maintains control of Fornax's many rackets through violence, intimidation and fear, and it will be up to you to reach him in time to avert the breakout of a cataclysmic new conflict.

With the return of old friends, old foes and old wounds gone-but-not-forgotten, Tau will confront you with horrifying consequences from your past, and an incredibly bright new canvas for the evolving future of Warframe.
