Some idiot threatened to review bomb the game because of the glitch on the FREE version and insulted the devs ability to produce a working game (even though the glitch was just on the free version) and then started crying when he got backlash for it

If the publisher will release a free-to-keep game that DOES NOT WORK, that's really telling for anyone expecting to PURCHASE any sort of functional game from them. Don't expect the most basic quality assurance testing, don't expect any sort of timely technical support or patches.

You know what you're paying for now: high risk of hot garbage.

That's good information, and it's totally appropriate to make a lot of noise about the experience so people can make smart decisions with their money (by avoiding Warm Lamp Games and Alawar Stargaze).

It's not a new game. The free-to-keep is a limited window. You'd have more reason to complain if you paid. All of this is an incidental technical glitch that has more to do with EGS than anything else. They fixed that problem so it is operational, now invalidating everything you've just said. This was not the worst problem to have either, so you're being more dramatic than it actually deserves.

Like said, this is not a new game but part of the epic games free window and was a glitch that got fixed very fast

Now the problem is the bugs of the abnormally large NPCs and block at their door and the bugs of vehicles like the police one. But it's a good game.... just with bugs to fix.

there are more bugs. one of my tenents is only walking in and out of his apartment. the other one does just stand in the door. and the third is behind the secound one and does nothing. they are in this state since one hour so this cant be normal...

When you open the game in instalation folder is working but still not by epic

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game. I've verified files. I've reinstalled the game in a different directory. I've ran it from the desktop instead of in epic. I've tried running it from the installation folder. Still getting the black screen.

Any help appreciated.

No. The fix was about launching the game itself because there's a sign-in wrapper that crashes the game whether you've tried to sign in or bypass it. The problems people are now hijacking this thread about is entirely something else.
