Emigration failed? Help!

I still cannot get a good ending! So I paid Dreiman the money to emigrate (around $105,000) but I still did not make it across the border alive to get the unpaid holiday/grass is greener achievements. I was executed at the border even though I paid and had the fake passports/cruise tickets and a person I helped. Why didn't it work?

I'm having the very same problem. I've paid 95.000 to Georg but got caught. Could it be that you need your family alive to get the achievement?

To obtain that achievement, you have to save all your family. I tried without saving them, and it was impossible for me. Salving them, I had no problem in that. Then, it is a bug in the guide or in the game.
