Stealing
Is there a way to continuously steal from other peoples houses without the authority trigger? The first time before those tennants find out you have stolen something is ok, but afterwards, it appears the other tennants are on edge, and can spot you even if they are in their own room on the floor above. Am I just missing something?

The more you steal - the more attention from a government you get. But when you arrest smbd, you will see its staff in a box near the door and this is not stealing already.

On this topic of stealing i found after stealing wait a day in game. then steal a max of 2 things. if you steal more than that the authorites rush in and attempt to fine you. not saying this is how it works but for my first playthrough this is how it worked for me.

Oh, you mean their belongings outside the door? Yeah, I know thats not stealing but some tennants are hard to evict, like that paranoid lady who doesn't sleep. Sometimes they have something worth a good amount of money though, and the way ownership works in this game just makes it more difficult.

Dead, If you can manage to get them out of thier room. Frame them.I did it many times for people I dont like. I am a great landlord lol. one way to get them out of thier room, keep knocking on thier door and wait for them eventually go downstairs or to the bus. (some people never seem to leave, or only like once a day though from what i have seen)
