I got him his books, paid for his date +$20 for flowers, paid every bleeding bill of his but wouldn't let him go to Borea because he was a dumb little ♥♥♥♥ & didn't know which was North Korea and which was South Borea, so he robbed a bank & got killed. Another time, I paid for his stupid ass to leave & then I get a telegram from him whining about it. Damned if I do & damned if I don't...
Patrick is a little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (I've realized this after playing the game a thousand times) and I don't really think he's even worth saving, tbh, but I want the achievement! How am I supposed to do this??

He needs to go to school to be able to travel to the South Borea. Also if you will not send him to school and you won't pay for his travel he will try to rob the bank and he will die.

Actually, you can let him get expelled and still save him! Here's how I got the all family alive ending:
-Make sure you have the cruise tickets from Aloisius and don't give them to the Schimmers
-Save Martha
-Let Patrick get expelled (I sent him on his date but it didn't seem to make a difference)
-Patrick goes to work in the mines
-Meanwhile, do every quest that nets you some money and blackmail lots of people
-Patrick will come and tell you he wants to run away and needs money
-Instead of giving him money, give him the cruise tickets

He ends up happy and healthy, and if you have enough money you and the rest of the family can go join him!

Thanks, guys. I actually was able to finally save him (I didn't know I could send a blackmail letter to every person in one apartment for the same thing).

@greatveiledbear - I've always paid for his school, but I'll try (although I feel bad letting the Schimmers die)
