If you like dystopian atmosphere and decisions with consequences - you should give Beholder a try.
It's a lot like various stealth games in that your job requires you to search people's apartments, take or plant items, or install cameras--all without getting caught. You have a time limit to complete tasks or quests given to you and depending on your choices and actions, you can be fined to the point of destitution or incarcerated for acts against the state.
The roleplay aspect is also a major part here, as your choices and completion of certain tasks have consequences. You can cause some of your tenants to commit suicide, get your complex blown up, your wife killed, your son brainwashed, or have all of your tenants incarcerated for crimes against the state (except that lousy old bastard who rats you out, the jerk!)
That's another thing, there are a lot of moral quandries to make in this game. Spying on your tenants is encouraged and you are rewarded for every piece of information you find out about them. With that information, you can blackmail your tenants until they're destitute and forced to move out or get them arrested for the nice bonus the state gives you and all the free stuff that they leave behind. Or you can try to resolve each of their questlines positively and end up saving some lives in the process.
All in all, it is one of my favorite games and one I tend to enjoy replaying now and again.
