Titan Quest Anniversary Edition

Statistiche:
Best build S tier class
What are the best builds S tier classes?
I found only this post from 2020:
https://titanquestfans.net/index.php?topic=1392.0

It says that Summoner and Skinchanger are the best S tier classes.
Is this guide outdated considering its from 2020 and many updates has been released since then?
What are the current S tier classes?

I don't like to put builds in tiers since they have their ups and downs and depend on the user's skill level and knowing how to use the character effectively (just because you may have BiS gear and the classes with the skills for the build does not mean you'll beat everything you come across), but I will say that pure strength-based builds can def be good. I have one with different classes that wrecks everything in its path in Legendary on easy mode but it has some problem areas that need items on the switch.

I find it best to experience classes and skill and work around what you like and build it from there and then ask questions about how to possibly make it better for you. Asking for the best builds makes the game stale or boring I find.
harbinger really op if you do it right

it depends on what makes a game fun for you. sometimes i like following a guide to make a build that is generally considered op or able to generate a lot of damage or whatever. it relieves some of the worry i might have about whether or not i can actually do well at the end game. but yeah if you don't experience those feelings then i could see why that would be boring. i'd like to see a (generally agreed upon) S tier build

edit: i'm currently trying this (the esoterist) build because i wanted to try the classes that weren't in the original. i've died a lot but that's probably just me

Those are his subjective preference on what is S-Tier, and I looked at his guides, they share all 1 thing in common, that he understands how to build a character because they're all built in the same way to accommodate his tastes.

I would definitely not say those are S Tier, but I think blueberry explained it well enough. You should stick to a beginner friendly class with a lot of synergies, to not fall into pitfalls if you are still learning the game. Those guides are written by someone who could play any class, and it will become "viable".

If you like melee, try look at a guide for, Conqueror (1h shield), Harbinger (1h/dw), Warden/haruspex (spear)
Bow: haruspex, pilgrim, ranger
thrown: thunderer, esoterist, slayer (dw)
Staff: oracle, prophet
Caster: druid, wu
I've never used Rune or Neidan, but from my experience these builds are all really generally good: Harbinger, Haruspex, Diviner, Warden. There are a lot of builds that are really good at one thing, like Brigand for one-shot damage or Templar for survival, but a lot of them are lacking in some regard, ie speed or mob clearing or survival. Harbinger is the best dual-wielder since it can actually survive compared to the high-damage Slayer and Assassin. Haruspex has great balance of offense and defense either as bow or spear/shield, and the masteries overlap well. Diviner can spam Ternion Attack and if you build right they can wear the str-based armor to survive in close range. Most casters are too fragile to be all-arounders but Diviner has Deathchill Aura and Trance of Convalescence to survive melee range. Warden just has perfect synergy as spear/shield, the two masteries overlap perfect.

Tbh, if endgame potential is all you care about, then Champion (Warfare/Nature) is the strongest build I played. That class is basically 2 characters in one, as you can be both a very good warrior as well as having all the benefits of a pet build. But you need a lot of skill points and good gear to pull it off and it requires using a lot of skills. But if you do get to a point where it gets effective, it's probably the strongest build in the game.
