It probably hasn't anything going for disabled gamers.

Do you need more?
none of this is a issue and still should be going on today

If I had to make a guess, it's because of the no blood, as paradox as that sounds.

No blood and gore = Suitable for younger audiences
Younger audience = Warning about "scary" monsters and partial nudity.

Only thing that halfways makes sense. If you could call that sense of course.

I like where this thread is going.

There's no gender slider. It means that non-binary gender persons can't play this. Personally, this week I identify myself as a dragon kitchen sink.

Edit: forgot to mention the obvious part: I'm obviously offended by this. :P

I totally forgot about gender-fluid people, but a slider is still too binary and is way too offensive and basically hate-speech.

How about a xy grid? Or should the game implement a gender 3D square? If that's not enough then maybe a gender tesseract would please them. Oh, forgot, nothing pleases them...

On a serious note. It's probably about the naked torso of some Medusas. In fact Diablo 3 it's labeled as 18+ with "some nudity", at first I was nudity? Where? Well, the Harpy/Sucubus (or whatever her name is) has her naked torso and shows some boobieees.

Valve has consideration for the sensitivities of conservatives who might be offended by images of foreigners or androgynous mythical creatures.

The former lead developer mentioned once that when it was originally developed one of THQ's exec's told them that they wanted it to be a game their grandmother could play. It's why it's nowhere near as dark and scary as the devlopers had wanted it to be. That exec is probably behind the warning. They seem like the kind of person who has outdated preconceived notions of what older people find acceptable.
