Formula and Selffound

Do you find it more enjoyable to do a Self-found only or sharing Equipment between toons. From my experience I’ve been sharing at first when I started. But after a while it can get overloaded FAST lol so I tried a Self-found no sharing .Was fun and exciting finding an upgrade for your new char.but this is where the fun ends…Finding Formula.I don’t think any of us find it enjoyable to farm Formula a new for every new single char. I’d never had to farm when I had several toons because some of them would get them dropped through their journey. But when u have a no sharing policy it’s tough and boring . Don’t think I can bare it any further lol . So How you guys are doing

I just did a self found run for all of normal on a single mastery and I enjoyed it. Right now I'm working on another build and I handed some items over from my other toon. I still have a ways to go for Formulas, only have a few saved

yes selffound can be good fun. I also opt in for 0 death on every char. (Don’t care if they die if they had finished Legendary though ). But self found for every single char including Artifact can be tiring.

I usually twink instead of self found. Mostly play xMax, want to have gear all ready and start as Accomplish char to skip early game tedium. Don't want to spend lots of time farming on the new char, already did that already with other chars. And like you mentioned, refarming for relics/charms/artifacts would be quite time consuming.

I haven't played an accomplished toon. Any drawbacks to that ?

Not really. Char starts at level 40 at Act 5 normal with major quest rewards built in (ie: +skills, health, attributes, etc.). Starts with enough gold to unlock full stash but no gear. So you're expected to provide gear from stash; the option is for players who have already completed a run with another character and want to skip the early parts of the game and get into Epic / Legendary quicker.

Artifacts, at least the greater and divine ones, are rather meant as a long-term / group project so it's normal that you would have a tough time getting them built within the scope of a SSF run.

But the Secret Order quest in Act 5 always rewards one to cover chars which did not find or build one by that point.

I only SSF in games like this that have no market or way to make more off people, I have found basically every item in the game and or made them like artifacts (except the new ones which I am farming now).
