Reset Mission Log

Hi guys, so last time i played online somebody twenty levels above me joined the game and insta killed a boss 2 Acts after my current location. Now dialog an everything else of this mission is already triggert. I'm quit pissed about it, is there any way to reset the quest or do I have to start a new char to enjoy the story first hand?

I think there is a way to delete the quest log, but I don't know how and it would erase all your quest progress, not just parts of it. So probably best to just start a new character.

But thx, how do i prevent to high leveld players to join?

Set player level to yours? I don't multiplay, but I guess that would work. Or just play with friends who have the game and not strangers.

Play single-player. If you want to play multi-player either set a password (have friends join if you play with any), or set the level range of characters can join.

Go to your Documents folder, then My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne\SaveData\Main , go to the folder with an underscore and your character name, then Levels_World_World01.map, from there go to the folder of the right difficulty level (a lot of folders, I know)... so just for example on my game it would be:
C:\Users\SotiCoto\Documents\My Games\Titan Quest - Immortal Throne/SaveData/Main/_Railgun/Levels_World_World01.map/Legendary

... and in that folder, if you delete the Quest.myw file (and probably best the QuestToken.myw file too) then it will COMPLETELY ERASE all your quest progress for both the main quest and subquests. The game will just generate new files when you log into the game, and your character will still be at the last resurrect shrine you activated WITH all the same teleporters active.
Might be a bit drastic, but it works. Plus with your teleporter progress kept it can be quicker to teleport about and redo the quests.
Alternatively if you're any good at Hex Editing you could try fiddling about with the file, but you're more likely to just mess things up more if you don't know what you're doing.

Of course you could just put up with it and keep playing, then be sure to do it all right on the next difficulty / playthrough.
