Harbinger => CC + debuffs (=> more damage)
Assassin => moar dmg.
Assassin has better max damage, Harbinger has more AoE damage and is a tad better on the defensive side.
Skills must wait for now...
What do you recommend yourself? Assassin is more pure damage? I know there may be secrets to explore but would love your thoughts?
Thank you!
As for what I'd recommend, difficult since I don't seem to play melee characters very well. I think for me though Assassin over Harbinger. Rogue has Lay Traps which I find more fun than Dream's Distortion Wave skill. Dream does have those nice Trances to choose from though. You could always forget Warfare and go Rogue/Dream instead for a Dreamkiller.
Debuff = negative status ailment
Haven't played a Harbringer before but I've heard they're pretty good too. Dream has some good CC options and excellent passives, which is something Rogue doesn't have too much of as I feel it's more 'active' skill focused.
Dreamkiller a bit different than the other two combos. The other two are often played as more glass cannon type dual wielders. I did a 0 death xMax x3 run with Dreamkiller as a melee/trapper hybrid, through you can play Dreamkiller as different hybrid styles if you want. Dreamkiller has traps + Nightmare for it's pet buff, an absolute ton of CC and great passives. Less DPS but more survivability.
