Do they still stream episodes?

Do they still stream episodes? Or they come downloaded with the game?

I think on console you had the option of installing the episodes manually. But I also want to know this for the PC version because my internet is terrible. I can't stream at all.

Not sure but I just finished episode one but didn't check to see if it was streaming. There is 12.gb of video files downloaded so might be that they install with the game.

I think its steaming, because was watching episode yesterday and it needed to catch up zircle was going around and clip had paused.
So grap bar and draged it backwards and saa scene again that helped prob gave it time to catch the stream

It streams them but you can just skip them then go to main menu and watch them on youtube before resuming.

Yeah I'm not gonna buy it because of this reason. Why not compress the videos and let us download it? How hard is that

Given the length of the vidoes you'd have to kill the quality compressing them not to mention it would still significantly add to the already hefty footprint the game has on your hard drive.

It's streaming only on PC. The xbox one has a 75 gigabyte episode pack.

isso não faz sentido algum, no xbox você pode baixar os episodios, já no pc "que geralmente tem mais espaço em disco" você tem que assistir via streamer? essa Remedy é maluca.

pc videos is 4K quality so it its just too big to download when xbox one is 1080p

So you telling me that videos stream only in 4K on PC? I'm just shocked and wowing my self because of this. Do they know that not a lot of people have 200mb internet to stream 4K?

actually around 50mbit should be for 4k (at least on youtube)

Youtube have excellent servers and also videos are compressed. So I would say you need 100mbit to stream these stupid episodes.
