Again, it's just a suggestion.
And yet VR support has just been added in beta branch
Motion blur should be added as a toggleable option, if players want a ps1 retro look, allow them the options to do so. Same goes for players wanting the opposite experience. Customization and modding is king, it ensures a game's longevity

NM lol
Your retort was not only arrogant and simplistic, it entirely missed the point. The discussion had nothing to do with there being an existence of VR games with "PS1-like graphics". Maybe if you paid attention to what others are talking about and exercised some self-awareness you'd spend less time keeping your fingers off the keyboard to make knee-jerk comments and more time educating yourself over how people can have a civilized discussion on a forum.
but yeah, motion blur was one of the things that made rollcage 2 a very atmospheric game, imo..So for 2D it'd be a nice to have I think.
I personally would enjoy if there were even more options to modernize the graphics, like shaders/normal mapping. etc.. especially since there is a 2280 mode and many other features from the newer Wipeout games that aren't exactly retro as well.
After all the game would still look and play like a PS1 game if you want it to be..Options aren't hurting anyone since they're >optional<.
However, I can't blame the devs for not impementing any of those features. It's their vision, and limited time/ressources is another factor.
Good job on necro-ing this thread. At the timeframe, I had an ATI HD 5850 mobile gpu, which would have completly sharted itself with Reshade. Now with a GTX 1050TI, I wouldn't have an issue with it.
