Jinn Mesca won't stay defeated?

Only have one marker left on the map and I've fought and defeated Jinn Mesca multiple times, but the dot never goes away. Is this some kind of bug or is there another target right near the meditation marker?

The two previous posters are both correct. I had this "issue" as well. It's kind of hidden.. If, near Jinn Mesca, you can see a cairn that you can't get to, that's where the boss is. You'll just need to find your way to the item.

underneath a stair case, took me litterally 3 hours of running around the map thinking there was a secret passage way but it was under the damn stairs the whole time.

Jinn Mesca isnt one of the bosses you have to defeat to progress the game lmao...If anything hes an optional boss you need to defeat to learn stagger style from an npc later on

Near the altar instead of going up the stairs go straight a bit and then look to your right you will see another pair of stairs undeneath them is a small passage which will take you to that boss you are missing.

not working. any of the methods. I betaed those guys under stairs but the progress is not ggoing. Also I have the final boss in another location near the Adal tower.
