Literally nothing else changes in the game. Everything still works the same as it does since launch. Everything is free, you earn tokens when playing, you buy clothes with those tokens.

This is a FREE game, and they're providing an OPTIONAL feature to support their FREE game that gives you a huge amount of tokens, a free high value item and a couple exclusive items that you can buy every month -- and complimentary emotes, which barely anyone uses. That's all. It's all cosmetics and helps everything in the game free.

No one complained when it became a feature to buy tokens, lots of people did it to support the game. This is just an extra level that allows users to support the game even more that doesn't even restrict features behind a paywall. What's the problem here?

Personally, I'll be subscribing. I've played Rec Room for 2 years completely free, so I'm more than happy to give my own support too. Please do continue with this and ignore all the negativity, this is a positive thing to add and you can certainly expect a lot of Rec Room fans to be subscribing as well. I've never felt so mad on Rec Room before.

OMG thanks that someone knows what going on ! Why are people hating the update when its just improving the game ! The game was so good , and now its just perfekt ! If they add more I dont know what it can be because the game is perfekt now !!!!!

Also mabe If they are not going to do the bad things listed above, mabe make a RR+ thing more of the pay once deal (lake mabe the minecraft servers).

change back the teleport delay in quests to 1.5, we have been asking this for around a year and it still is not back yet.

im done watching this game for paintball with lobbies split by locomotion. it is a fun gamemode besides the teleporting thing

Sorry, If I wrote that sarcastically. But from past experience with microtransactions. Free content starts to get reduced. While now its an option. if Rec Room sees it as a income. they'll take an advantage of it. While I understand that its their way to make profits back from having the game free from all the years. I have spent $300 on tokens before this monthly Rec+. So while its good now. I know these kind of things can go downhill. Since Rec Room is no longer just a VR title. Its an ios app. Money and microtransactions can be a pain. I rather have Rec Room be a one time paid game then all these transactions with payments tied to ball and chain. And yes, I act like Rec Room would actually do this. Remember its a company. Money is the center of a company. Lets hope you are right about this. I love Rec Room, But I have supported it alot. my $300 in tokens remember. I don't need to have things taken away from me in terms of payments in the future.

I understand that the game needs money to continue being made, though I think a single purchase DLC would be more widely accepted. Well, I don't "have" to pay anything since everything is optional, but I'm sure you know where I'm coming from. Monthly subscriptions to earn in-game coins have never sat right with me.

On another note, I hope everyone is having the best day that they can given the current situation.

Ya but it allwase stats off like that. I know they wont, but I dont want it to evolve into somthing like that..(pay walls etc.).

first of all, game was great before screen players came in, it should've stayed vr only or make a separate client for vr only. I'm sick of hearing squeaky 8 year olds on their mom's Ipad saying there the best. Second, really going down the Bethesda path aren't you, your starting to make it so you can pay for everything (whats the point in playing the game then.) Third, what was going in your heads when you thought, lets make a vr game not vr. Because, i guarantee you guy's saw a slight bit of money at the small cost of your game. That's all I've got to say, devs, you most likely will ignore like you do with most other criticism, but best of luck to you with your two extra dollars for ruining the game.

honestly so long as this doesn't lock down certain worlds or affect fun I think this is relatively harmless. Just don't make exclusive game modes

Please allow screenies to use shortcuts to certain ACTIONS like pointing... the new "QUICKER" WAY of pointing takes 3x more steps than it did before??!? literaly makes the game horrible on pc.. for me to react to people in game it takes 3x as long.. hurts the expirence so much almost unplayerble
