Black screen and crash after logging in

Everything used to be fine but currently i am unable to play the game. After opening and clicking log in button, it shows loading then screen becomes black and game closes without crash or error. Anyone experiencing the same thing? I tried new accounts but still cant get intyo the game, it keeps closing. How to fix this?

go to rec.net, click on your profile (assuming youve logged in already) then settings then click account then click "reset dorm and club spawn"

everytime i want to play the steam version im being forced to do this if anyone has a permanent solution please lmk!
