are Rec Room Studios and rooms 2.0 compatible
i want to think big and use RRS and rooms 2.0 in the same room

should be but (that's a massive but) Rooms 2.0 are extremely buggy and super unstable so I wouldn't recommend making any Rooms 2.0 rooms right now.
