Need Help with Rec Room Not Loading in headset.

Whenever I try to play rec room it does not show it in my Headset but it shows it on my laptop, Everything is plugged in correctly (i think). All my other VR games work but rec room specifically doesn't, can anybody help? i've been trying to fix this for months now

Also in the Steam VR loading menu it shows up the icon of Rec Room and it says Waiting... But it never loads up.

If you're running an anti-virus like AVG or Avast, try to whitelist "recroom_release.exe" or disabling them temporarily and see if it lets you launch the game then.

Hi there,

When you say "it shows it on my laptop", do you mean that you are able to play in screenmode but not VR? Or are you saying that you see the Rec Room window popup on the desktop but not in your headset? Which headset and platform are you using? As Star Centurion mentioned, make sure you have recroom_release.exe whitelisted in your anti-virus/firewall.

Hello, Thank you! ill keep note of that next time i try to play. Sorry for the late reply but i reseted my laptop because of technical issues. Also, answering your questions. It shows the Rec Room game on the laptop and doesn't pop up in my laptop. Im using a lenovo headset, Windows 10.
