how do i get my mic working on rec room pc?

Are you playing on screen mode? If you play in VR, Which headset are you using?

I know Oculus Quest 1/2 through SteamVR can be tricky to get the mic working, but you should not be having any issues with any of the SteamVR or WMR headsets. Let me know which headset you use and I can provide assistance.

i dont use a headset, its all keyboard and mouse, i use a blue yeti microphone which works fine on all other games

ive played rec room on xbox and my mic worked fine, thats why im confused

Rec Room by default when in screen mode on PC attempts to use the default microphone device as assigned by Windows. Is the Blue Yeti mic the default microphone, or is it something else?

The choose cortona can't hear me and then choose your mic
(only for laptops)
