It's taking FOREVER to get an answer.. all I want to do is play with my son!!
Are you also on the Index?
The game basically thinks you are AFK so it kicks you back to your dorm room. if you look at your Avatar you'll see ZZzzs coming out of your face. Basically it thinks you're not active for some stupid reason.
Yep, I'm using the index aswell, idk what the issue is with this
Damn, I thought we had it!
Can you submit a ticket with your output logs (instructions here: https://recroom.happyfox.com/kb/article/7-output-log-log-files/) and send us a ticket here: http://recroom.happyfox.com/new
We will be able to clear the issue manually for you, but your data is still valuable so that we can fix this once and for all & not have more players with this issue
Or you could have looked in the pinned technical issues thread at the top of the Rec Room discussion page ;)

We have in fact taken a look at the issue, but it's some combination of factors that just make this issue not go away. For one, we use the data that SteamVR gives us based if your proximity sensor is detecting something or not. For whatever reason, we sometimes just don't get anything from SteamVR when using specifically an Index or WMR headset. Oculus headsets for whatever reason don't seem affected. We're very much stomped as to why this happens. Then there's the fact it doesn't happen to all Index or WMR users, only a very small percentage of them. We're more than happy to manually apply a fix for them when they write in though. And no, we can't apply the fix automatically to all users. We don't know exactly the ones that are having the issue or not.
