Ping pong table!?!?!?

what happened to the full 1v1 ping pong table that was downstairs??? Why would you get rid of probably the most fun I've had in this game? I just don't understand, it actually worked really well.

I believe it was removed because it "caused problems." Specifically, ping pong feels kinda bad due to latency, especially as the player->server->player distance grows. A lot of new players would be dropped into the Rec Center and, seeing a game they recognized, try to play it with very limited success, which had the potential to create less-than-great first impressions of the game.

But fear not! The full ping pong table is still present in the Lounge (create one from your watch under Custom Rooms --> Create). It might also be in the sandbox machine, but I really can't recall. Someone else can probably chime in with an answer to that one.

You're correct. It is in the Sandbox machine as well. I recall smashing my friend with it on the head.

I liked being to able to just head over to it and play with anyone and not worry about someone having to join my custom room (which I could care less about making).

Bummer, this game gets worse for me it seems with every update. They need to put something else in the big empty spot where it used to be.

Well, you could suggest a room dedicated to ping pong as well as suggest it as a separate discord category. That would solve these problems.

Stop playing is an easier solution for me. Since they made the custom rooms, the player count is dead anyways. Moving on...
