My mic is not working

I tried everthing to get my mic working in the game
i tried it in the windows settings and in the steam vr settings to turn it on but i dont get it
my mic works in every multiplayer game....
Sry for my bad english but i hope you can still understand

Is it enabled in the in-game settings? How do you know that it's not working, you've tried to talk to someone and they can't hear you?

yep ist on in the ingame settings.... everytime i try to talk to someone i get no reaction or an answer

Hmm, that's strange. I'm not really sure what else could be the problem. We basically grab the mic input directly from what SteamVR picks up. Have you tried reinstalling SteamVR?

I am too have this problem , i used htc vive mic, in the discord (App where people can talk with other people-like skype) i can talk, but not in the rec room.Help me please

Could you guys send us your log file[www.againstgrav.com] after playing in a room where you can't talk? This has to be a room that is not your Dorm Room, like the Rec Center. That way we can at least see if there is some voice traffic error. You guys can hear other people talking, right?

It seems like you never left the Dorm Room. You don't connect to the voice server until you go out of the Dorm Room.

ehmmm.... thats not true^^ i was in the rec room and played some games with other people too but they cant hear me and that makes it really boring :(..... what do you mean with Components dooble?

Try going into the Sound mixer options on windows and changing the microphone input for the app

go to your watch. click settings then go to audio and change microphone to on. then turn on your actual microphone with the headset and u should be able to talk
